Tregonholme is a real gem. The breakfast stole the show-freshly cooked full English with plenty of choices like cereals, toast, and even a children's menu! The rooms were equipped with a kettle and mini fridge, a nice surprise. My friends and I stayed in a room with six single beds. It was spacious enough for a group and clean, although our shower temperature fluctuated a bit. The location near the beach made evening strolls easy, but the hill back from town was a bit of a workout. Parking was limited, so arriving early is essential. The owner was helpful, even bringing a portable heater when our room was chilly at first. This personal touch. It could benefit from some updates in shared spaces where cleanliness was minorly lacking, but overall a pleasant experience. Can't wait to visit again!

Charming small hotel, satisfactory breakfasts, magnificent location close to the beachfront. Well priced and decent size rooms, hospitable staff especially the manager. Good sleep in a comfy bed.

The breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of cereals and freshly prepared options available each morning.
The shower cubicle was quite small, which might be uncomfortable for larger individuals.

Very friendly staff, extremely accomodating for our 2 children - 3yr old and 8month old. We felt they genuinely cared and wanted us to enjoy our stay. Breakfast was delicious and location was perfect - would definately recommend to friends and family.
Not a complaint at all but corridors and staircases are a bit dated, also the en suite was very small considering there was 4 of us to the room but not really an issue with a short stay.

Bright, friendly room, kettle with tea and coffee in the room. TV. Easy. On the mountain, but close to town and beach, very friendly staff.

The shower temperatures danced between hot and cold, keeping mornings interesting but not in a fun way. Shared spaces felt a bit worn, particularly the communal carpets, which could use some updating to avoid that 'trampled' vibe. My room overlooked a busy road, and the noise was enough to wake me early. Stair access was a bit of a trek if you had heavy bags, no doubt about that. Plus, there were limited dining options beyond breakfast, which isn't ideal for those looking to settle in for the evening without heading out.

The first impression was 'what a dump' however the beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The young lady who seemed to run the hotel single handed was very, very good, nothing was too much trouble. She is a treasure and we hope the the owners appreciate her.

Chur, that shower temperature was all over the shop, but breakfast was choice as, especially the full English! Comfortable bed, and located sweet as near the beach.

The hotel's owners are vey nice. We had to move on early the last day and they made us the breakfast earlier than it was supposed to be. About the breakfast, it's really tasty. Full english breakfast or continental (this one should be a little bit more varied). The bedroom was ok but seemed bigger on the pictures and we didn't expect a so small bathroom. The hotel is very well situated, only 4minutes from the city center!
We can hear the water running from the others bedrooms. The bathroom quite to small.

Very dog friendly - I was very impressed to be offered the bigger double room even though I had originally booked the small, due to the fact we had a dog (a doberman) with us. It was newly decorated and a good size with enough room for the three of us to be comfortable. The location was also very good with the beach and town both a 5-10 minute walk. The breakfast was lovely and the service was good also. Overall we had a very nice 2 night stay and would definitely stay again.

The warm personalized service was really good, especially Tina's help with parking. The children's breakfast menu was a good touch, and the hotel's central location made beach access effortless.

Great location, 5 minute walk into the centre. The owners and staff were all friendly and helpful. Our twin room was comfortable and the beds were great. The room also had a flat screen tv and great shower. Very good value for money and good full English breakfast included.

Breakfast was lovely!
There was a really bad sewage smell that came from the toilet. Shut toilet lid and bathroom door and could still smell it in our room - not very nice at all! it was enough to make you gag! and has put me off coming again.
